WASH Action Planning

Water and Sanitation Action Planning Training

To support  water and health sector staff to become better in helping communities improve their livelihood and water and sanitation services, the Watsan Training Center will be holding mothly water and sanitation action planning training. The training is meant for staff from public and private organizations that support community based interventions related to water supply and water resources, sanitation and environmental management.


Training Objectives

By the end of the training the participants will be able to:

  • Develop community WASH assessments and action plans including participatory situation analysis, assessment and management of relevant risks
  • To plan and introduce of important community water and sanitation improvements.
  • Reflect on how this experience can be embedded in their projects planning cycles.


Duration: 4 days

Time: 8.30a.m to 5.00p.m

Venue: Malindi, Kenya


Training Dates

Training dates for the 1st Quarter of 2018 are:

9th to  13th January 2018

6th to 10th February 2018

6th to 10th March 2018


Cost: Kshs 34,500 (USD 345) which will include refreshments and lunch. Participants will cater for their own accommodation.

Certificates will be issued upon completion of the training
